Our client based in Ware wanted a family friendly luxury cinema room.

After visiting the Artcoustic showroom the client was able to see and hear what was possiable in his own home.

Discussions continued to get the room which measured 7 x 4m technically correct.
After completing a bass simulation starting with them in the preferred locations, we could then see how the room would react and what bass quality we could expect. To get the correct output to deliver Dolby’s 115db the room required 4 subwoofers.

Trying to get the clients to have 4 subs is not easy and once seeing the bass simulation the client agreed to to two x Artcoustic sub 3 at the front (two 10” long-throw woofers in each sub)
And one Artcoustic sub 4 (employing 4 x 10” long-throw woofers)

This room would technicaly be a Dolby Atmos 4k UHD 9.4.9

Once budget was set it was onto the room fit out and how this would look.

We knew we could have seven seats in here but the client also wante a bar area and starceiling

The client wanted the biggest screen possible but due to the Starscape star ceiling being in a coffer and having a 16:9 screen ratio for sports and movies we could ONLY have a 3.3m wide 149 inch diagonal screen. Still plenty big enough and technically correct from the main seating position.

This room not only is reference level with 105db but one of the best bass responses we’ve seen in room! Incredibly flat, with depth, power and dynamics. It’s all in the planning, simulating bass curves, and showing why subs front and subs back work in this space. Artcoustic Sub4 and sub3 in this case.

With our room fitout specialist we were able to achieve a a state of the art luxury Cinema Room for the whole family.
